Lake Superior Views -- Your Vacation Retreat
There is so much to see and do in Michigan's Upper Peninsula that it will be hard to pick your favorites!
Explore the forests, rivers, waterfalls and shoreline. You may spot a moose or bear, a whitetail deer or a beaver building his house. Visit the land where copper was king, see a copper mine in the Keewenaw Peninsula, visit old ruins or walk through a ghost town. Take a boat ride to the sites of sunken ships, or the famous Pictured Rocks, or get outfitted for a scuba diving adventure. Gather rocks on the beach. Explore the Lake Superior Lighthouses that are open for touring by climbing the tower or visiting the museum within. Explore some of the many State and National Parks. Enjoy the bounties of the north: maple syrup, jams, fudge, berries, fish and the famous Michigan pasty.
